Eric Carlson Fitness

An informative book on fat loss and lean muscle gain, "The Truth About Burning Fat & Gaining Muscle" by fitness celebrity Eric Carlson, makes for a fascinating read as well. This book provides the most effective techniques for fat loss and muscle gain used by leading experts in the fitness industry. This information comes straight from the most well respected, "the best of the best", fitness icons in the world.
"The Truth About Burning Fat & Gaining Muscle" is powerfully revealing training manual that looks at the facts and myths about fat loss and muscle gain. This book is considered an industry insiders guide. The results that are experienced through this program each week as you follow the "fill in the blank" easy steps program that makes it super easy for anyone to lose weight while still maintaing and increasing muscle mass. I really enjoyed the fact that the meal program is so simple to set up to use. By filling in a couple personal numbers, the formula gives me the correct map for how and when to eat. I don't have to guess anymore how many calories or when I should be eating. That is a load of my mind.
The book also is an excellent reminder of the importance of eating a naturally balanced diet consisting of whole foods that support and nourish our bodies. Eric's philosophy is to "eat like a hunter gatherer at least 90% of your diet. It's o.k. to have 'fun' food here and there, but stay true to your biological design and eat natural, unprocessed foods and eat plenty of it."
Most people will be shocked to find that the goal is not to eat less when it comes to weight loss., but to really eat more of the good foods more often throughout the day. Again back to the hunter gatherer theory, eat small frequent meals throughout the day, with some sort of daily activity to maintain higher metabolism rates longer which then helps the body use the food as fuel... instead of storing it. The best illustration given ever is the "sumo wrestlers diet" concept where Eric's examples how sumo wrestlers are able to get so big, you'll be surprised to know, most Americans eat like this everyday!
Not only does "The Truth About Burning Fat & Gaining Muscle" break down the when, what, and where to eat, the book also lays out a fitness program that is designed to take any fitness level from beginners to advanced in simple to follow stages. Matter of fact if you are a beginner, this is perfect program for since you can start with the beginner workouts and progress at your own rate into higher levels of fitness each week. I like this idea because not everyone is at the same fitness levels. It nice to have a clear path laid out for me.
As bonus gift Eric even added his "6-Week Six Pack Ab Routine". These combo routines will have your abs humming! If you want cut abs, follow this program to the letter. The ab shredder also has a beginner to advanced levels so everyone can benefit from these killer sequence's. It was amazing trying some of these "new" ab exercise's I'd never heard of.
All and all I think the book is one of the better programs out there. Eric is not big on hype and over promising like most other fitness ebooks. He breaks it down clear and simple. If you can follow some basic instructions, you'll start seeing the body you have always dreamed of staring back at you in the mirror in short time. Check it out!
